People spend 90% of their time indoors, and the workplace takes up a big part of that time. So it is likely that the indoor climate conditions at workplaces affect health and work performance. However, this has not yet been investigated very much. Maastricht University and the city of Venlo have joined forces to use Venlo’s new city hall to study how comfort, health, and productivity has been affected by the move to this healthy office building. The Provada roundtable provides the first insight into the results, and will show how other (German) cities in the region use this as an inspiration for their own redevelopment plans.
